Table 4 Classification scheme for the width of particle size distributions [43]. It is based on D90/D10, which is the ratio of the 90th and 10th percentile of the particle size distribution. A linear visualization should be preferred for very narrow to narrow particle size distributions, whereas it is advisable to use a logarithmic scale for particle size distributions with a medium to very wide width
